Air Source Heat Pumps

What is an Air source heat pump (ASHP)?

An air source heat pump is a unit that extracts heat from the outside air and converts it into usable heat for your home.

Even in cold temperatures, it captures ambient heat and transfers it indoors to provide heating and hot water.

Unlike a traditional gas boiler that generates high temperatures quickly by burning fossil fuels, a heat pump operates steadily at lower flow temperatures using minimal electric for the fan, delivering consistent, comfortable warmth when properly designed as part of a complete low-temperature heating system.

Ideally then we would like lots of photos of ASHP units, maybe use the Vaillant logo where possible for brand confidence, maybe some pictures of installers fitting a unit, wearing hi vis etc? and a few tag line phases in boxes ie;

1- Futureproof Heating for Modern Homes
Air source heat pumps are designed for the future of domestic heating. Efficient to run and low but consistent temperatures. As energy standards evolve, installing a properly designed heat pump system positions your home ahead of regulation and ready for long-term performance.

2- Lower Carbon. Smarter Energy
By extracting renewable heat energy from the air, an ASHP significantly reduces reliance on fossil fuels such as oil and gas. It’s a cleaner, more sustainable way to heat your home, without compromising on comfort.

3- Consistent Warmth

Set It and Let It Run. Air source heat pumps are designed to operate steadily, not reactively. Once correctly designed and set up, the system maintains a consistent, comfortable temperature without constant adjustments. There’s no need to keep turning it up and down, it simply runs quietly in the background, delivering smooth, even warmth throughout your home.

Underfloor Heating Applications

Underfloor heating is very flexible and simple to install. It can be easily added to an existing building, perhaps as part of a conservatory or kitchen extension, or it can be installed as the main heating system for a new build project either domestic or commercial.

It can be used alongside traditional radiators or as the sole heating system for a property using either a traditional boiler or any of the emerging renewable heat sources such as ground source and air source heat pumps. A number of factors will influence the decision over which components are required for any given type of application. Some of these factors include the number of rooms to be heated, the size of the rooms and the floor construction of the property.

To get the best out of your underfloor heating system it is important that you have the system properly specified by a professional or company that specialises in UFH design. If you do not already have these why not let us take care of this for you? We can provide a full system design and CAD pipe layout from your set of plans or drawings.
