Underfloor Heating Design Service
At Cozia, we provide a fully indemnified underfloor heating CAD design service to ensure maximum efficiency and performance from your underfloor heating system. Our design team produces designs that are specific to your home layout, and are tailored to the specific type of underfloor heating that you are looking for.
All of our underfloor heating designs are produced using the the latest AutoCAD software and in accordance with BS EN 1264.
What is involved in the underfloor heating design process?
We could get technical here but don’t worry, we won’t!
There is no “one size fits all” approach when it comes to installing underfloor heating into homes. Every project is different and it’s important that we understand your requirements fully so you’re 100% satisfied with the end result and your system performs to its full potential.
All of this is done with one end result in mind – achieving the most efficient underfloor heating system possible for your home.
From your plans, our design team will produce a design based on a number of factors including:
- The number and size of the zones (individually heated areas) required
- The required pipe spacings based on the primary heat source in the property
- The type of floor construction
- Manifold location
- Floor coverings
How It Works
Step 1 - Submit your plans
– Simply send us your plans via our Free Quote form or via email. The
more information you can provide to us at this stage, the better. But don’t worry, if there is
something missing that we need to know to produce your design proposal we’ll be in touch.

Step 2 - Amend or approve your design
Upon receipt of your plans and project information we will produce a design proposal along with a quote for the materials and installation. The design may be right first time or you may wish to tweak the proposal depending on your requirements. We’ll work with you to ensure you’re 100% happy before confirming the final design and quote.

Step 3 - We do the work
Once you’ve placed your order we’ll liaise with you to arrange a date for installation in accordance with your project timeline. Your Cozia installer will show up on time and carry out the installation with the minimum amount of fuss. Upon completion, your installer will hand over all of the relevant project information including a copy of your underfloor heating
design for your reference.

Once you’ve received your design
Once you’ve received your underfloor heating design, you’ll have everything you need to move forward with confidence.
Your CAD layout and specification will show the full system designed around your property, ensuring the right heat output, pipe spacing and overall performance. From here, you can choose to proceed with supply only or take advantage of our fully managed service, where we handle everything from materials through to installation.
Our team will work with you to align delivery and installation with your project timeline, removing the need to coordinate multiple contractors. The result is a correctly specified, efficiently installed system that’s built to perform long-term, with full accountability and support from design through to completion.
Design and Supply Only Service
In most cases we design, supply and install our underfloor heating systems as one package under the Cozia name. However, we do offer a design and supply only option if required. Perhaps you have another option for the installation? No problem, we can still provide our underfloor heating design service along with the Cozia components we’ve quoted for your system leaving you free to install them as and when you prefer (Please refer to terms & conditions for design and supply only packages.)
