We know from experience that the issue worrying homeowners the most about purchasing underfloor heating for their home is the prospect of a leak. Underfloor heating systems, by their very nature, are embedded deep in the floor of your home, often within screed, and therefore hugely disruptive and costly to remove.
Firstly, it’s important to know that our system designs never include any pipe connections beneath the floor. Each loop flowing out from the manifold and returning back is a solid, continuous loop. All pipe connections are at the manifold on the wall, so it’s extremely unlikely that an underfloor leak would occur.
The importance of pipe quality is why we use the highest calibre in our systems. With a 50-year warranty, backed up by 10-year consequential damage insurance, our multi layer composite pipe (or Pert II) combines the advantages of aluminium metal with the corrosion resistance of plastic for maximum robustness. Not all underfloor heating pipes are made the same, so it’s important to check.
It’s not just our pipe that comes with guarantees, all the main components of your system are warranty-backed as follows:
- Pipe – 50-year warranty with 10-year consequential damage insurance
- Electronic package (thermostats, actuators and wiring centres) – extended 5-year warranty
- Pump pack – 2-year warranty
- Manifold – 2-year warranty and tested to BISRA industry standards
Designed for performance & efficiency
When it comes to system performance, our design service is fully indemnified so you have complete peace of mind that the design specification will provide adequate heat outputs for your property. Our CAD designs provide heat output data relating to different floor coverings as standard and, if you have heat loss calculations, we will take these into consideration too.
Our installation guarantee to you
Our installers work to the highest standards and your Cozia Homeowner’s Handover Pack, which is provided post-installation, will ensure that you have all the relevant information and documentation regarding your system.
However, if you or your trades require technical assistance at a later date, when your underfloor heating system is commissioned, or support for any queries you have once you have moved in and start using your system, you can count on us. Most queries can be resolved over the telephone, but if a site visit is required we’ll do just that.
